UnitedHealthcare Global Care Card

Using Your Plan

Our mission is to make the health system work better for everyone, and we strive to make it simpler for you to receive — and pay for — the care you need. When you receive care outside of the United States, you are often required to pay for the services at the point of care. We have a solution — the UnitedHealthcare Global Care Card.

What is the Care Card?

The Care Card is a payment method that makes it easier for you to pay for eligible medical services at the point of care. This means no out-of-pocket1 payments and no waiting for reimbursement.
