Cross Border Solutions offers health care access to those individuals and groups crossing the US borders. Our dedication and focus is solely on international clients and their needs.

 

With UnitedHealth Access^® , we take full advantage of the assets of UnitedHealth Group, including access to one of the largest networks in the US, with more than 560,000 physicians, 5,000 hospitals providing access to over 70 million Americans. In addition to network access and unit cost discounts, Cross Border Solutions provides proven care management services, specialized transplant and cancer services and access to the UnitedHealth Premium^® physician and hospital designation programs.

 

Arbitration:

Out of network negotiations for claims that are not in-network.
Treatment referral: Assistance in locating specialist health care providers and care coordination to ensure that individuals receive the right care at the right time and in the right settings.

 

Claims administration:

Sophisticated claims administration, including a wide array of automatic claims edits to promote correct billing and benefits administration, effective cost containment and clear reporting.

 

Provider payment:

Direct payment to hospitals, physicians, laboratories, and other health care providers. No "balance billing" is permitted in our network for covered services, and we work actively with health care providers to make certain they understand the individuals' benefits and any coverage limitations.

 

Customer service:

24-hour telephone access available in both English and Spanish, with other languages available upon request; arrangements for air ambulance, hotel, and other special needs.

Subrogation:

Referral of cases to subrogation and recovery services for recovery from liable third parties.
