Philip Brun

Philip Brun is the Vice President of Sales and Account Management for the Cross Border Solutions unit of UnitedHealth International.  In this role, Mr. Brun is responsible for new business sales of UnitedHealth Access, Hygeia network and arbitration solutions to insurers, reinsurers, TPAs, assistance companies and government and non-government organizations globally.

 

Prior to joining UnitedHealth International in 2006, Mr. Brun was an International Sales Director for Hygeia Corporation. Before his work at Hygeia, Mr. Brun held a number of positions at AvMed Health Plan (a Florida based HMO) as Director of Proposal Development, Sales Director (large group HMO) and as Director of Self-funded Products. Before moving to the United States in 1997, he also spent seven years working in the UK as a medical assistance operations manager and head of expatriate health sales, service and product development for a leading UK assistance company.

 

Mr. Brun grew up in the United Kingdom and has lived in France as well as the United States.
