Kristin Herrera is the Senior Vice President, Reinsurance & U.S. Benefits for UnitedHealth International (UHI). In this role, Mrs. Herrera is the business owner of international reinsurance relationships and is responsible for driving revenue and membership growth for UnitedHealthcare (UHC) with foreign multinational companies who have employees in the United States.

 

Mrs. Herrera has over 20 years of sales, account management and operational leadership experience in employee benefits.

 

Prior to joining UHI, Mrs. Herrera was Vice President of Business Development for UnitedHealthcare (UHC) National Accounts for 7 years.  Prior to her UHC experience, she served in various leadership positions at Prudential Insurance Company, Health Insurance Plan of New York and Workscape.  As Executive Director she had P&L responsibility for Prudential’s New Jersey health plan and HIP’s New York health plan.  Other responsibilities included delivery system management and strategy, mergers and acquisitions and new product development. 

 

Mrs. Herrera graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Business Administration.
